People Search builds a fresh list of people based on who you want to reach — it's for finding new leads, not cleaning an existing list. Set your filters, preview the match count for free, then run a paid search to save the people you want at 1 credit per person.
From the sidebar, open People Search. New to the page? Click the How To button for a guided walkthrough of each step.
The filter sidebar is split into Contact Filters (who the person is) and Company Filters (where they work). Combine as many as you like — every filter narrows the result set.
Contact filters
Job Titles — multi-select with autocomplete (e.g. "VP of Sales," "Head of Marketing"), plus a match mode for exact vs. broader matching.
Exclude Job Title Keywords — filter out titles you don't want (e.g. "intern," "assistant"), with its own match mode.
Seniority — Manager, Director, VP, C-suite, and more.
Locations — countries or regions.
Department & Job Function — hierarchical multi-select.
LinkedIn signals — profile badge, follower count, and connection count.
Company filters
Industries — multi-select.
Products & Services — keyword matching on what the company sells or does.
Company Domains — target specific companies by domain.
# Employees & Employees by Department — company size overall, or headcount within a specific department.
Annual Revenue — revenue range.
Company Type — Publicly Held, Privately Held, etc.
Company LinkedIn URLs — target companies by their LinkedIn page.
Funding — funding type (Pre-Seed through Series F+), total and last funding amounts, and last funding date.
Lookalike source — start from the companies a Company Lookalike run already found.
Import from HubSpot — pull a company list from your connected HubSpot account and find the people inside those companies (requires HubSpot connected, Professional plan or higher).
Click Get Search Count to see how many people match, along with a small sample. You get 100 free previews per billing cycle; beyond that, a preview costs 10 credits.
While previewing, your filters stay editable — remove chips from the filter recap or adjust the sidebar until the count looks right.
When you're ready, choose how many people to save — pick a preset (1,000 / 5,000 / 10,000) or type an exact number, up to 50,000 per run — and start the paid search. Each saved person costs 1 credit.
Once a paid run starts, the filters for that search lock — to try a different cut, start a new search. Credits are reserved when the run starts and reconciled when it finishes, so if a run returns fewer people than requested you only pay for what was actually delivered.
Need more from the same search? Fetch more picks up right where the search stopped. People you've already saved are excluded automatically, so you're never charged twice for the same person.
Each person includes name, job title, company (with logo and domain), location, industry, seniority, department, company size, annual revenue, keywords, company type, website, LinkedIn followers and connections, profile badges, and a link to their LinkedIn profile.
No — People Search results don't include email addresses. Finding verified emails is a separate feature, Email Finder: it takes a saved People Search and finds verified email addresses for those people, charging only for emails it actually finds. Email Finder is rolling out soon.
Every search can be exported three ways: download a CSV, push to a Clay table via webhook, or push contacts to HubSpot (Professional plan or higher). See Exporting discovery results: CSV, Clay, and HubSpot for details.
Every search is saved. Open Search History to revisit any prior search, see its status, re-open the results, or export from the row's actions menu. The history page has its own How To walkthrough too.
