Email Finder takes a People Search you've already run and finds verified email addresses for those people. You pick the search, we work through the eligible people, and you're only charged for emails we actually find and verify.
From the sidebar, open Email Finder, then pick one of your saved People Searches as the source. You can also start straight from a search's results — the Find emails action pre-fills Email Finder with that search and always asks you to confirm before anything runs or is charged. If you haven't run a People Search yet, start there — Email Finder works on the people a search has saved.
3 credits per valid email found.
People where no verified email is found cost nothing.
Every email is verified by Enrichley as part of the run — no third-party verification step needed.
Credits are reserved up front from an estimate and reconciled when the run completes — any difference is refunded automatically. The figure you see before starting is a ceiling ("up to N credits"), not a charge.
Email Finder works through the people in your source search who have a name, a company domain, and a current role matching the search. People missing those details are skipped — and skipped people are never charged. People you saved during a free preview count too: they're just as eligible as people from a paid run.
A new run only processes people who have never been tried — the "Find emails for N" count you see is exactly that group.
"Not found" is final: Email Finder doesn't re-attempt people it has already tried, so a new run never spends time re-checking known misses.
One run at a time per account, and a single run can cover up to 100,000 people.
No — Email Finder only works on People Search jobs run inside Enrichley; you can't upload an outside contact list to find emails for it. That's deliberate: our 500M+ profile dataset is refreshed weekly, so we know each person still works at their company before we look up an email — that freshness is what keeps the results reliable.
If you have a list of target companies, you're two steps away: run a People Search first — bring your companies in by CSV of domains, HubSpot import, or a Company Lookalike run — then pick that saved search in Email Finder. If you already have email addresses and want to check they're deliverable, use Email Validation instead.
Valid — a verified email was found (charged).
Not found — the lookup finished and no verified email exists for this person (not charged). This is final — future runs won't re-try them.
Pending — being processed right now in an active run.
Not attempted — the run ended before reaching this person (not charged; anything reserved for them is refunded). A new run will pick them up.
Found emails are also written back to the person in your saved People Search results, so the two features stay in sync — a Work Email column and coverage meter on People Search show who has an email, who came up empty, and who hasn't been tried yet.
Email Finder's history groups every run by the search it came from — one row per source with its run count and total emails found. Expand a row to see individual runs, or open the source row for a combined view where each person is counted once across all runs. You can export from any level: a single run, or everything found for that search.
Once a run finishes, export from the results view or from history. Every CSV and Clay export starts with a scope picker:
Valid only (the default) — just the found emails.
All rows — everyone in the run.
Not found — the confirmed misses.
Not attempted — people the run never reached.
Exports include the same profile columns as People Search exports — 70+ data points, with the email columns first — so a CSV is outreach-ready. A single export covers up to 50,000 rows (you can browse up to 100,000 in the app; contact support if you need a bigger export). You can also push contacts to HubSpot (Professional plan or higher) — once a person has a found email, HubSpot matching prioritizes their email over their LinkedIn URL. See Exporting discovery results: CSV, Clay, and HubSpot for details.
