If you're already subscribed, head to your billing page. If you're picking a plan for the first time, go to the plans page.
Upgrades take effect immediately. You're charged the new monthly price (prorated by Stripe if you upgrade mid-cycle) and your new credit allotment is added to your balance right away.
Downgrades are scheduled for the end of your current billing cycle. You keep your current plan and credits until then. After the cycle ends, your subscription switches to the lower tier and your next monthly credit grant matches the new plan.
Changed your mind about a downgrade? You can cancel the scheduled change from your billing page as long as your current cycle hasn't ended yet.
If you've run out of credits before your cycle ends and don't want to upgrade, the "Renew Subscription" option restarts your billing cycle right now — you're billed for the next month and your credits reset to the full plan grant. Useful when you just need a fresh batch at your existing price.
